An entire college's worth full of documentation through the social media app "Bereal". Each year is projected in a frame side by side of each other. Each year flickers at a different rate and when the view puts their palm out in front of the camera, all the pictures pauses for however long you leave your hand up.
Timeline
Week 3
Research tutorials using touchdesigner and projection mapping.
Week 4 - 5
Gather all the pictures and figure out how to get the pictures to flicker through
Weeks 6
Fix any bugs in the project
Week 7 - 8
Figure out how to projection map in touchdesigner
Week 9
Gather material such as the picture frames and clean out any more bugs in the project
Week 10
Present the final project

Harry Potter Photo wall - Justin Flom
I was thinking about projection mapping before seeing her work but I liked how she was using everyday videos. It made me think of my BeReals and I thought it would be a cool thing to use since I’ve been consistently using it for almost 4 years. I thought it was a good idea of the little box sculpture she used to project her videos. My form of media is also not moving since mineare pictures so I need to figure a different way to add movement to my pictures.
I have not watched Harry Potter but it made me think that maybe putting my projections into frames would be a nice idea. Since I am still working with pictures, I wanted to make the pictures flip through really fast because I still want to add movement into my work. It is still essentially videos in the frames in his work but I will be working with pictures.

Both stories are not told in a linear way. I like how both works remind me of memory and how retelling a story, you start to remember other memories even if it’s not in chronological order.The speed the photos flip through will imitate how fast time is moving through the years and itwill be able to compare what was happening to the other years I will be presenting.
